Introduction
Many people in modern society spend alarming amounts of time immersed in technology. As technology becomes more advanced, this level of immersion will increase, and the public should be knowledgeable about instances of technological immersion in recent history. This work aims to compare modern day technological immersion with historical examples of technological immersion in order to highlight historical lessons and how they can be implemented with modern technology.
